Welcome, we are a little ranch in Vilna, Alberta. For about 4 years we've been rescueing horses that have been mistreated, neglected, left on their own, misfed or simply that were never handled. Most of our horses don't come from the auction, we mostly get our horses from owners that didn't have the knowledge required to own a horse. We also receive horses that are green which mean that they were never handled therefore no regular care like dewormers, trims etc. We give them the time that they need to trust and respect humans. Afterward when the horse is ready to leave we choose a proper household which has been selected with specific criteria.
